What do the next few months hold for you?
Do you have any new and different woodworking projects?

Thanks, everyone for stopping in.
This week is the last QotW for the summer. I'll be taking some time off till the last week of September. I'll still be around here on WB, I'm just taking some time off to come up with a new batch of questions and the grand kiddo wants me to make a bass fishing boat out of an old starcraft I got from my memere, so we'll be doing that and other fun stuff on Sunday mornings.

The monthly 13 Questions Interview series will still be happening.

Thank you all for taking the time to follow along every week and post up your answers. :yourock:
I look forward to seeing you all again Sunday mornings in September
Cheers....
Marc

Have plenty of projects in mind but also have upcoming surgery that will restrict me to lifting no more than 10 lbs for 6 weeks. :scare3: no worries, low risk but 10 lbs... YIKES, it will be a test of my self control or lack of same...
Will maybe know next week.
Trying to get kiln full and a bathroom cabinet built. Also a stand for a Japanese porthole FIL got out of Truk lagoon in I late 60s. Turning/flatwork competition inspired me to start but start maybe short-lived.
One way or another this will be a busy summer as always..

For a change, I should be around all Summer. Plan to continue to stay fully engaged in the shop. Have a bookshelf to finish, game boards to finish, several bowls in progress, plus I want to start a new project yet to be decided. Chuck

Wow! This summer will be a busy time, beyond staying busy with work requirements. Here is a starter list:
  • Family vacation coming up beginning of July. The family from Texas and Georgia are meeting up in Florida for a week of fun in the sun. Meeting up with a friend going back to kindergarten along the way. This coincides with the 250th anniversary celebration of our great nation!
  • Lots of Home DIY projects as we prepare to list the home for an upcoming sale.
  • House shopping, a home with a shop space will be a priority.
  • Thinning out the contents of the storage units - there are some tools awaiting restoration, parts for my '80's vintage Mustang, and wood. Lots of wood!
  • Cleaning up & culling the tool herd a bit as well.
  • SWAT in August.
  • Packing / moving. I've been in this home for 19 years. It will be nice to rid ourselves of some accumulated stuff that isn't needed. Everything has a place, everything is in its place.
I've gotta go get busy!

Got to get back into the sawmill scene. I have about run out of pretties after 3 years of using, selling, and trading wood off my place.
I am hoping to restore a couple benches but the owners may run out of patience before I get through procrastinating...

The correct answer to this question is "to procrastinate until mid-July and then scurry around and finish a project for the June Turning Challenge! " Any other answer is decidedly wrong.
