Easy. The big ass timber framing chisel I got ten years ago. I thought I would use it to hollow out big mortises. It turns out I just use a router and drill press. Then a small chisel to clean it all up.

Right now I'd say my hand saws, especially the back saw I use with a miter box. It's so dull I'd be better using a string to try to cut a piece of wood.

First instant response has been used twice. Just gut reaction.

I have some oddball tools, like a big rasp, or my dad’s big electronic carver (couldn’t just leave it, it was dad’s), and a couple other items like that. Would have to spend some time in the shop looking to make the full list. Then again, depending on the day, it is my skew chisels, but no, will keep picking them up.

The second most useless tool in the shop behind me is the jointer, it was in poor shape when I brought it home and I've just been moving it / walking around it until I could spend some time cleaning it up and putting it to use. I took it apart last weekend to do just that and now it is even more useless as I am walking around all of the parts. It has had some progress made so hopefully not too many more shop days will have the status changed to "useful".
