Certain times higher up, the ponderosas release their pollen but it's yellow and larger particles. Cars will literally be covered in a yellow blanket, shores of ponds and lakes and puddles have a solid yellow line around them. If the wind gusts, yellow clouds roll across the golf courses.@DLJeffs, three years ago I was in Missouri during spring, and headed up to Massachusetts. For about 400 miles I saw what looked like fog layer that looked to be just over tree height. If your pictures were taken looking down a hyway, they wood look like what I saw on that trip. When I finally reached Mass., I raised my hood to check things, and most of the engine had a white powder on it. I now know why people have bad reactions to the spring months with all that pollen flying around ............. Jerry (in Tucson)
