Hi @Big Ry here’s the persimmon. It’s 8 to 8.5“ x 1.5” x 53”. It’s dry as a bone. many many years in workshop at 35 to 40% humidity. It’s rough on both sides so would need to be planed. It is very very lightweight from being so dry for so long. There is a pith in the middle as you can see just above the R and S in the word persimmon. Let me know if this interests you and how much of it you want.

Here is the sweet cherry. It’s 9” x 2 1/8” x 53“. This piece is kiln dried but not dried out like the persimmon, but has been stored in my workshop for a couple years at least so it’s ready to use. In one of the photos, you can see it still contains a little bit of pith on the far end, and a crack as a result. The crack is about 5 inches from one side and about 4 inches from the other side. This piece is solid and hard as a rock, no dry rot or anything like that. If this interests you, let me know, and how much of it you’d want me to cut for you.

How much are you selling it for? By board foot? Weight? I don't really have a project in mind, so i don't have specific dimensional requirements. I just try to buy 18"+ whenever possible based on the types of projects i normally work on. But i understand it to be one of the cheaper (cheapest?) ebonies, so i figured i could buy a sizable chunk.

I'm also curious about the density, because i thought persimmon was on the denser side. Wood Database says it's 52pcf, which is not what i would consider light. Is yours significantly lighter than this?

Same question as the persimmon lol how much? I don't need much of this for the project I'm buying it for, but I'll buy a bunch if it's not too pricey lol
