I mentioned in one of my posts that I had some cut-offs of various rosewoods. Tony asked to see some of them and here is the one I've found so far. I got it from Rick Hearne some time ago and he said it was Nicaraguan sourced. As Paul's exotic wood website shows, it could actually be Mexican Rosewood / Dalbergia palo-escrito.

Rick sells these cut-offs by the pound and I have $50 in this piece. I'll sell it for that plus shipping if Tony or anyone wants it. I have others around here somewhere.

Southwest Association of Turners. It's one of the biggest turning symposiums in the country, 4 hours away from me in Waco. A bunch of us go every year, a great time, lot to learn, and of course plenty of things to buy.
