Pretty interesting sheen to it, good reflectivity and chatoyance (like using that word) in the wood. Dense stuff, even hollowed down to about 3/16", this has some heft to it at 5 1/2" diam x 4 1/2" tall.
Finished with several coats of antique oil and Beall buffed, waxed with Renaissance Wax.
