Something very simple. I've been eating an apple a day for a treat. And use an apple slicer/corer. Got tired of having to wipe down the big 22" cutting board. And poof, an idea. Clean up a few cut-offs from the Mother's Day Cheese slicers. A mini-apple cutting board. What do you think?... Buy some of these Apple Slicers/Corers and sell them with a simple, small cutting board?

Small boards are nice but I think the example is smidge too small. I have an 8” I use all the time. if the board is too small, cut items fall off the board and you have to wipe down the counter.

Many kitchens already have an apple core/slicer and if it was sold paired with the board, it could prevent a sale. I have one and it never gets used. I find my chef’s knife far superior and easier to clean. Even a cheap apple gadget is $10 and cheap isn’t always a wise choice for cutting tools. Your pampered chef slicer shown is $25.

Small boards sell. Your example is more like a trivet which also will sell.

My recommendation, use the cutoffs to make an end grain cutting board which will bring in higher dollar from the same amount of wood.
