Plain maple bowl, stained red, with basket weave pyrography and silver metallic cream.

Learned a lot from this practice piece. 1) dont turn the wood too thin near the bottom or you'll have to glue on a new bottom :scare3: 2) dont turn the wood to thin or you will burn right through it :scare3: 3) offset top row of circles :ponder:4) sand more :unknown: 5) keep practicing and have more patience :impatient:

Cool! It has kind of an Asian vibe with the black and red. Love the pyro with the silver accent!

Interesting idea to add silver cream to wood burning. It really works, nice job on the project. I think we all can relate to your concern about the bottom. Now I have to worry about leaving them too thick and heavy.
