SOLD: Bowl blanks

ONLY THE TEAK BLANK REMAINS!!!

Unloading a few bowl blanks here. All should be dry at this point. The bloodwood and teak are sealed in water poly (couldn't find my shellac). Mahogany is end waxed. All prices exclude pirate shipping.

Bloodwood (Brosimum rubescens) - $42 SOLD
6 15/16” x 6 5/8” x 4"
Slight ribbonstriping on sides.
Years dry. Got from a local cabinet maker. Has some superficial cracks on top, with worst one extending 1/2” deep







Teak (Tectona grandis) - $34 $26 SOLD
6" x 5 7/8" x 3"
One crack running a little over half depth on each end grain face (same crack)







Honduran mahogany (Swietenia macrophylla) - SOLD
4"+ x 4"+ x 2"+ EA
Blanks are cut all different ways. A couple have very small knots, but mostly clear. 1 has 1/3 sapwood. Will not split.

Yeah it is definitely some good quality bloodwood. Believe it or not the piece i cut it from has an ancient woodcraft price tag on it lol

Yeah i can cut off another from the block. You'll just have to give me a little to get that done. I can possibly get it done tonight, but otherwise some time this weekend.

Hey Ryan, if you’d be willing to cut off another square, then I would love to buy it from you. I can envision a beautiful bowl made from that colorful wood! Take your time. In fact, if we do the trade for the smokewook, perhaps you can hang onto it and ship everything at once. But if you want to ship it now, that’s fine too. I think we can work something out. Yeah i was pleasantly surprised. It was dirty and heavily oxidized when i bought it. So i hit it with the orbital before taking photos, and it cleaned up really nice.

If any more Bloodwood I’d like to buy one too. I’d turn it around Halloween so I could use the shavings as decorations though! My shop would look like blood everywhere…lol!
Seriously though, I’d like a blank if you have anymore!
