Prices dropped again on the 3 remaining pieces. Basically in the red here after PayPal fees! They're really pretty boards. Photos don't do justice!

Okay, I waited as long as I could stand. Before I commit though, can you tell me about #1. In the second photo, there's a half moon lighter colored area that looks to have saw marks. How deep do those go and will they sand out, leaving me enough to resaw into two thin boards? If so, I'll buy #1, resaw it into 3/8" thick and make a shallow box from it.

That's a spot that was a little low and didn't hit the planer. There's another much smaller area like that in one corner. I measured both, and they're only 1/32"... Maybe 3/64" tops. It should plane out without much effort, though you won't be able to get 3/8" anyway due to kerf width, runout, etc. The 3/4" thickness i noted in the OP is exact, as shown in the full thickness photo (#3) below.

As long as those saw blade scars aren't deep I'll still get enough for box sides. I prefer thinner sides on my boxes anyway. Band saw kerf doesn't take away much. I'll take it. Figure out a total and let me know. I'll PM my address. Thanks.

Haha, I said the adult version of darn after seeing I missed out and was auto-corrected.

Yeah I've heard that before, but i wasn't sure what you were saying it for.

I have a little more Malaysian blackwood. Are you looking for a certain size or amount?
