If anyone is in need of any stabilizing please do not hesitate to contact me, I have a full setup and can even stabilize pool cues if needed. Contact me to see if there is anyway I can help you,, fair pricing and quick turn around,, I just ask that wood to be dry, I have a usable kiln if needed.

What would you charge for stabilizing? I have some stuff I'd like to get stabilized to make some of Erics rings and some Fbeb and chittum so they hold their color better.

well besides for the shipping I will weigh the wood then once stabilized weigh again and subtract the difference it will be comparable in price to K and G and other places of the sort. its hard to give an exact price prehand because certain woods will soak more than others but I am only charging for the resin itself and the amount used.

Hey Steve just an idea to help you sell your services. Edit your original post showing a before and after image of some wood you have stabilized, on the scales etc. and explain how much weight was gained and what the charge to the customer was. This is just a suggestion for you certainly not mandatory - just trying to help.

P.S. Then you might even trim and polish the wood to show how it looks infused with the GV.

I have some pen blanks that need stabilizing. Apparently I can't PM you as I am not yet a full member. Please PM me if you can.
