Looks a smidge like spalted tree wood with ring porous growth and rays many cells wide, wide enough to see in the picture.
If that is oak with that level of spalting, I would ask how hard it is. Sure is purdy as a bowl.
Here’s some butternut that may or may not work for you. These pieces are roughly 4” thick, 12” wide and 35” long.
In the pictures one of these is longer than 35” but I’ll just cut the non-bug part off so it will be 35” as well. $25 each plus shipping.
First Piece 35” x 12” x 4” thick. Front and back.
Second piece. Will trim to 35” also 4” thick and 12” wide front and back
