I spent 10 years of my youth in Midland, first 6 in Kermit Roger, and I NEVER tire of sunrise and sunset shots like that. Love it when there is a pump jack in the picture also.
This is looking downstream on the Agua Boa River at 6am, one of the guides out to check the river markers on the sand bars.

Yesterday morning. When I first saw it while upstairs, it was the color of the above picture posted by djg. I went downstairs to get my camera, and took the picture from my porch. Less than 2 minutes later, it was a grey sunrise.

Yes, I can imagine the color in your shot. I love the 'feathered' clouds. Very fleeting.
My wife shot this from her downtown office building in Midland. This after dirt brown sky and high winds yesterday.
One thing about daylight savings time .... we get more sunrise shots.
