Not the Sweetplum, but most of the wood I get off the beach is definitely of the “five precious tree species” of Taiwan. They are highly regulated. They can be bought and sold as art projects, but even then, the province of the piece often needs to be demonstrated. It’s a hassle and certainly wouldn’t be legal on a commercial level.
You just need to build a "headrest" template. Problem solved.
