I have several slabs of fordite, that I really don’t want to sell, but if I can lighten my load before moving, I might as well.
These are thinner, about 1/2” thick, but you could easily laminate for pens or wine stoppers, or use for other smaller projects.

I will bandsaw pieces to fit into small or medium flat rate boxes, prices will be $80/lb shipped and I won’t know your exact price until it’s in the box. It isn’t an exact science here.

Let me know if there is any interest!

Color me interested. I would want a firmer idea of the cost for a box prior to a full commitment.

Well each one of those slabs are A little over 1 pound each. But they are too big to fit I a small or medium box, so I can cut to fit. Are you looking for just a small box for about a pound?

I had a little laugh over here. :greeting: I wasn't looking for any of it,,,,but, I saw it available.

I think a slab cut to fit a small box size is more than adequate.

Another question. How hard / durable is it?

It’s certainly “advanced” material. Usually there are no issues, but It can be chippy and blow apart like anything. But I turn it and use high speed and sharp tools and usually don’t have any issues. I even cut some on my CNC, your mileage my vary

What shop are they from? Cadillac? A knife maker friend of mine is asking. He used them as segments in his knifes

So I was wrong, the slabs area closer to 2lbs each, not 1.
I cut one up to fit it a small box and it weighs in at 1lb, 10oz. So that would be $130total shipped. I can take a piece out if you don’t want to spend that much, get it down to like 1lb 4oz.

Both shipped
Any more takers? I’m going to put them in storage in 2 weeks until I can get into my new space, which will probably be in November
