Funny you ask that, I’ve found like 4 different places like this (real estate firms hosting personal property auctions) all in TN and I had the same question run through my head this afternoon. I’ll definitely be looking for something closer to home for us!

I kind of wonder if there’s something about state laws/licenses that allow RE agents or companies to host auctions in TN.

Quite possible. I certainly don’t have a clue on State laws!

Many of our real estate companies hold real estate auctions. To do so they have an auctioneer on staff. To keep him or her employed between real estate auctions, they hold consignment or personal property auctions.
Our livestock auction houses often hold monthly consignment auctions to augment their income from livestock auctioning as well.

One of my pet peeves (one of many I have come to realize I have) is the paucity of information, particularly location and contact. I had to click several buttons to finally get to another website to find out where they were located. Dismal!

They have a bunch of tools, but anything I want - I don't have room for. And they have a bunch of those nasty battery operated toy thingies called tools!
