Good question. I find the wood and cut it up myself. What would you pay for something like that? :sorry:

I'd be interested in a chunk of that stuff to fit a medium flat rate shirt box with the grain running the long way if you have it that size. I will get in line behind Tom though since he showed interest as well.

The trade ended up being a sale because Steve S didn't have much to trade. @Final Strut we could still work out a trade for a similar slab as mentioned above. I will be cutting up the next trunk section soon and will post a picture then.
 
Lou, I do not have a bowl gouge but I am still interested in a piece the size I stated earlier.

I have not forgotten everyone in this thread...I have been struck with the spring fever and it has not been the good type. Today was the first day I ventured into the shop and putted around a little. Still recovering but will get some pics on here soon. :coffee1:
