Forstner Drill Bits
Speed Fast or Slow?

When drilling two holes in the same place one forstner and one brad point Which one is first?

The speed depends on the size of the bit... bigger bits, slower speed.

I’d use the forstner bit first since the brad point bit will remove the center material which helps guide the forstner bit.

I agree, Forstner first. You'll get a good flat base which will be good if you need to change bits. The point on the Forstner will help you keep center

As said above, Forstner first, then brad point, Depending on the size of the point on the forstner and the point on the brad point you may just want to go to a conventional split point bit instead nof the brad point. Larger bit, slower RPMS. keep it cool, clear chips often.

pretty much agree with above but if you are going to drill a 1.5 " forstner hole half way through and a 1/8 brad hole the rest of the way. it does not matter . a 1.5 and 1/2 does matter.
