Hi folks,
I am wondering if anyone UK based happens to have any D. cochinchinensis they'd be willing to part with?
I'm looking for ideally a 1.5" or 2" square piece. Length isn't too important. I realise many will have the "reclaimed thai rosewood" from timberline, but having since acquired 2 pieces of that I am 99.9% sure it isn't cochinchinensis.
I'd be happy to trade, or happy to pay :)

I only have a bunch of pen blanks from Timberline, sorry. Mine look pretty good for D cochinchinensis by grain photos, though I don't have a physical reference to compare against. I had a possible piece from Carpenter World on eBay though it was very odd. Cross cut and more like a burl, and they don't actually have it listed.
Btw @Jperry93 the seller who had the huanghuali has two pieces of curly D oliveri that might interest you

Ah I had wondered. I did call timberline a couple of days ago (about something else), and I did mention the "reclaimed thai rosewood". He did say it was at his best guess cochinchinensis, but that he wasn't 100% sure. I did see those, but they're way too skinny for me unfortunately. I' need 2" wide at least, and those are only about 30mm square I believe.
