Ulu Bowl

Completed a 2 3/4” Ulu (Breadfruit) bowl from a blank that I purchased from @Kalai last year. It was a pleasure to turn and sand, but took a lot of coats of finish to reach the optimum final appearance. I used 8+ coats of Wipe-on Poly Satin, followed by 3 coats of Renaissance Wax. Lighter in background is for size comparison. Chuck

This one was semi-gloss (Satin), believe it or not. Next bowl I present will be Walnut Oil (in a few days).
