Takes a lot of time/practice & money to figure out how to get blanks to look like that. Very bright colors. Good job Matt!

Thanks, Stan. Stabilizing is something I have really enjoyed doing. Unfortunately I'm going to be largely stepping back from it for a while - life has been too busy, so stabilizing will be taking a back seat for a while as I focus on some other things, like building furniture and venturing into new areas of turning beyond kit pens.

Gorgeous stuff Matt - how thick are the first two pictures (Chestnuts)

I can get exact measurements of each block later when I'm in the shop, but they're all roughly 1 7/16"ish square. One or two of them may be a little wider than that on one face.

No problem - give me the orange, the left blue and left green

Barry, does it change your mind if I tell you that the two in the first pic aren't blue, but are purple? I think the lighting was a little off for the pics - I was trying out a new LED light for pics.

Mat I will take the number 166 quilted maple and the spalted tamarind I guess it is #1. The one on the far left of the pic. And #255 the Hackberry.
