Walnut bowl in 2 minutes!

Hi guys, took my first stab at time lapsing a turning I did this past weekend. It was pretty fun to do and see 1.5 hrs down to 2 min.

It was a pretty rough blank of walnut but got the wall thickness down to around 1/4".

Josh, when you filmed it, was it time lapsed through your camera, or a program after down loading it to your computer?? I have the TL feature on my camera, but can't bring myself to doing it yet.......... One day, maybe.

My camera doesn't have a TL feature, so I set a trigger to take a picture every 3 seconds. Then put all of those into iMovie and exported as an mp4. It was easier than I though and a lot of fun
