One of my friends is getting in too bad of health to work anymore so I helped him clean out his storage unit and I'm helping him sell his wood turning equipment and other tools. Found this pack of wrenches in the mix. I've never seen any like it and everyone I've shown them to has no clue what they are. They look like a backwards torx Allen set.
Anyone have a clue?

I haven't seen this before, but that label makes me think it was in "SERVICE" . Is he a veteran? The 1 each is a common label on military items to be handed out. The number may need to be blurred out as that may be his service or ss number. If it isn't his, it probably is the number of the service member who owned them before.
It is an unusual pattern, I assume some sort of safety key.

Those are what are called spline wrenches. Used in any allen head screw or bolt that may have been stripped or ruined in some way.

"The spline profile allows a higher torque to be applied before rounding of the fastener corners occurs. Applied loads are moved away from the fastener corners which allow the spline wrench to turn fasteners that are already worn or rounded."
