What are 'Trophy Points'?

I used to have trophy points, but they were taken away!!
It was like rewards for certain things, like... x number of posts or x number of likes would net you 10 points, etc...
It definitely spawned from video games. It is a copy of the "achievement" system in a lot of games. I never really understood the point of it, but I guess it gives people something to shoot for?

Scott - They came pre-wired with the software and are intended to "Reward" a member for certain milestones. Like you get one for your first post... your 100th post etc... Kind of like an electronic version of a gold star you got in school... We already have this on out to do list to see if we can find a constructive use for them, but we have not made it that far down the list. In the mean time - you have been a good boy and deserve a star :D
Dave - There are no plans to at this time. It is not a feature of this software. We are listening and making note of all thoughts and requests, but to be honest we will try to fine tune what we have before we go seeking additional components. To help convey the same comfort level on trades or purchases there is absolutely nothing wrong with an existing member weighing in on a post with "Hey - I have one of Dave's call and 200 pounds of meat in the freezer" kind of posts to show support and approval.
