A group of about 10 from our turning club met today to finish deconstructing a large hickory tree. Much of the larger pieces, 24”-30” were cut a week or two ago, but there was still plenty of wood to go around. Wind (ring) shake in some of the pieces but still lots of good wood. It’s wet so the larger pieces are a 2-man lift. The large one here is 23” and the smaller are 13”.
