A hundred pounds?? That is quite a nice surprise for sure. Can make a lot of baskets from that.

Our dog groomer texted these pics and asked if want them, 15 min later I was there picking them up. A few will make nice production blanks but took them all to help her out. Her Dad used to turn and they have been in the garage for years.

Had I known about those, I would have made it there in 14 minutes.

John - I think that wood might be haunted. I've looked at this photo several times and am pretty sure this can of Krylon is levitating in the air!

Fooled me for about two minutes. Here is my solution:
It does look like it’s levitating but it’s actually an optical illusion involving the shadow of the dark coloured wood underneath. Once you get your head around the fact that the light coloured rectangle “just behind” (actually just in front of) the can is actually the end grain of a board it becomes explainable. It did take me about two minutes to figure it out (after you pointed it out) so kudos to you for finding the illusion in that amazing pic.

2 minutes. ...... And I always thought you were sharper than that. :sofa: It only took me about 10 seconds to see what you saw. I instead got fixated on that spark plug wrench being where it was. ............... Nubs

I thought so too. I guess I spent it all on the audit the day before. That and me having barely woken up.

Actually probably the latter seeing as I had just had some good sleep. That wrench does raise some questions though.

IMG_1030.jpeg IMG_1029.jpeg Sons came this morn and took down this mulberry. The skid steer of younger son helped place it in a safe place.
i was hoping for a sawlog but it looks like a bunch of turning blanks, give the hollow.
