WHAT TO DO

Hi, I picked up some ends at a sale. the guy made wood pistol handle scales I think I got his reject pile but can't beat the price. This piece I can think of what to do with it except make fire wood. Does anybody have any ideas,its 7" tall and about 6" at the widest point. Thanks

Might be a tough turn to make one thing from the whole piece, but there are many projects to be made from cutting it up.

Christmas ornaments, spheres, bottle stoppers, pens, eggs, little finger bowls, keychains, mini hollow forms, etc.

I agree with that. Mount it and let the wood tell you what it wants to be. Use your Chuck Plate if you still have it. ......... Nubs

I would carve something artsy out of it, incorporating a lot of it's natural surface. Could make a cool rustic base for something too
