and it goes up and down and round and round.Love it!!!! Iff'n I wasn't such a restrained individual there would be some comments about shapely lines, being easy on the eyes, and caressability!

Would love to get your impressions of the air sander after you've put it to use. Been considering that one for a while.Well, it didn't come in the mail but normally would have. Bought 2 CBN wheels, wolverine conversion kit and a mini air sander kit from Woodturners Wonders at our Wood Art Expo! Ken sells some great products and I am glad that he took the trip to be a vendor at our show.
I have a couple more of those walnut thin sections with the bird's eyes in them that would look good with curly maple. And I have one really figured curly maple thin that could pair with curly maple sides with maybe a dark trim like Don put on his koa box. But I.m not fussy about wood type, I'll find something to pair with whatever as long as it has some character and uniqueness.I'll see what I have. I know there's some curly maple out there. Maybe ambrosia maple. I can resaw a little thicker if you have a planer to smooth.
Should be a years supply. That’ll keep you going for awhile! Great niche! Chuck
Where did you buy these from? Very handy tools! ChuckGot a set of hand cut rifflers today. No, they aren't Auriou or Liogier, those are more than a little out of my price range. These are from Gramercy Tools and are made in Pakistan. I've had a modelers rasp from them for years and it's a nice tool. Without putting these to work yet, think they will be a nice addition to the toolbox.

Good luck with it, Marc. It’s even more finicky than snakewood. Chips and delaminates if not very careful. Depending on what you plan to make sandpaper rather than cutting tools maybe the answer.Found some fordite online on facebook...
