Who's on line?

Just a question, is the who's on line feature still being used? If so how do I turn it on or can I?:dunno:

I haven't had it in a long time! I asked a question a while ago and I think it has something to do with my computer as it doesn't work on any of my browsers. :i_dunno:

Greg - Doc says he is able to get it by clicking his name up in the corner and selecting it from a drop down box - or something like that. He was always able to do it -even before we were mods. I never did and still do not - so Matt might be on to something with the browsers. I have visibility to it as a mod at the bottom of the screen on the main page. Matt and I both use Apple OS so that might be the reason. Maybe Doc will chime in when he see this and walk you through it
 
I can see it at the bottom of the home page, but it disappeared for a while... I'm not sure if it came back when my name turned pink, or if Kevin pushed a button or something.
 
Me I just click on my or anyones- name. If they are on line- It shows up under their name in green-online. other way I find it is to go to very bottom of home page. I have been mod long enough I do not remember before- hell who am I kidding I probably did not remember after one week. :drinks::rotflmao3::rotflmao3::rotflmao3::rotflmao3::rotflmao3:

On the home page I have the box at the bottom that shows all the specs like number of members etc. It just doesn't show who's on line. Clicking my name gives me a drop down as always, but no option for turning that on.:dunno: Browser is firefox.

I turned it off back when we were having bandwidth issues because it uses a lot of resources. Why do you need it Greg?

I don't really need it, I just thought it was a cool feature, I see it on other forums and it made me think of it. Kinda fun to see who's on and when, Not a big deal, I was just wondering if there was something I was missing as far as how to turn it on.:dunno: If it eats up band width leave it off.

Hahaha, oh, so that's why! I'm with Greg, it's kind of a cool feature but nothing we can't live with out. :good2:
 
We have a lot of bandwidth now though. I'll turn it back on and let's see if it slows down the forum. I bet it won't with the firepower we have now . . . .

This is really weird. I cannot find the plugin. But it has to be in there somewhere because I can see who's online. I've looked everywhere for it. I'll look some more later . . . .
