Does anyone have a 3" x3" x6" long section of Willow? A friend of mine is looking for some.

Type of willow matter? I likely have that and more from my neighbor's tree that I cut down a couple years ago. It was mostly dead but I believe it to be weeping willow.

I think that would be fine, what do you want for it?
Will try to get my paws, camera, and price on the piece in the morning. It will be mostly shipping. The real money was in the 36 inch x 10 foot slabs...

I've got a willow crotch log that would yield a piece or 2 of that size. I also have another willow log that would yield these pieces.
Both are yours if you want them.
*Both logs were cut down this summer and still in log form so will be green. They are lighter now than they were when cut.

Thankfully, you gave me permission to procrastinate. I just realized that I hadn't shot a picture of the willow. Working on a shower rebuild this weekend that is taking far too long. I just got my waterproofing on about dark thirty.
If that willow of Jonathon's is within easy reach, that would be cheaper than my shipping charge. I would be glad to send it. I can try to get that picture to ya tomorrow.

The need for willow was local to me and was met with an in person pickup and a new friendship with another woodworker. He left with 2 Willow logs and I gained that much space back. That is called a win-win!

I wanted to wait to make sure the individual who posted the thread was taken care of before I jumped in. I’m actually looking for some weeping Willow myself. I’m not in a big hurry, but I would be interested in buying a bit off of you if possible. Please let me know.
