My lady friend has a summer home near Nelson so I’ve been spending time in and near Nelson. I checked around and found a listing for wood turner Gary McCandlish in Nelson. I looked him up and spent about hour in his shop. Gary makes bowls and said he sells everything he makes locally. Nelson has turned into a tourist town and he said there are ample opportunities to sell what he makes.
