You’re gonna owe your buddies a bunch of beer when they come help you move that beast. I can’t wait to see the final product!
I'm never moving, lol. It will be assembled in pieces and I'll make a video of the process so when I die and somebody has to get it out of my basement shop they'll know how to take it apart.

The person that tries to take my bench apart will need the patience of Jobe and a chainsaw. I applaud you for having the foresight to make it that way. I never planned to be able to take it apart and built it that way. The top is 4” and that’s a through dovetail on one side with a mortise on the other side of the leg which is a saddle joint. A little glue and pins and there will never be any racking. Of course I’ve never been accused of over doing things.

What are you doing for the top and vices? I have one vice screw that I didn’t use if you are interested. I’ll see if i can find it and post a picture.

I'll only be installing one vice, its all I've ever needed. The bech top will have dog holes for stops. Thanks for the offer though, very kind of you.

Depends on how you build the vise but one screw can actually be 2 vises. The ole girl is aging gracefully and no longer looks that way.
