well, not the worst, but in my case, a real bummer. Not acting my age 10 days ago now on a trail bike and took a big spill. Needless to say, bending over a lathe is not in the books for me for a bit. Doing better thanks to a wonderful sister traveling out and taking care of me. Will be out of work for a bit but all will be well which I am very blessed about!!

On a side note, my buddy of over ten years had contracted something and the vet confirmed the worse this morning. My beloved Patches had to be put down thIs afternoon. A truly sweet cat and a special companion over the years through some tough life events. As I am getting a paw print, I am hoping to turn something that will demonstrate my love for him.

Thanks for reading, just a bit down this afternoon!

Having just put my dog down on Monday, I can completely relate. I'm sorry for your loss and I'm glad to hear that your accident wasn't more serious. Wishing you a speedy recovery.

Gary, sorry to hear you lost a pal and hope your wounds and aches heal fast from the spill.

Garry you've really been through the grinder. Several of us here have had to send our beloved friends onto the hinterland lately. Man that sucks. I guess it's because our "pets" love us unconditionally. Our human friends all have flaws. Wishing you a speedy recovery on all fronts.

The real problem with four legged buddies is that that they live long enough to become a significant part of our life, but they don't live enough.

But, we are lucky to have the time we have with them and, in my case, God has provided me with some wonderful four legged friends and buddies.

Gary, so sorry for the loss of your furry friend, I know how that feels. I have a calico cat named patches too.
I don't heel so fast from my injuries anymore either, Take it easy and heal up, better days ahead my friend.

Thanks folks you know a bit of an "ironic" bummer?? Got a great little shipment from Ed at Exotic Blanks as well as a small order from PSI! Yep, chomping that the bits to do soe new turning,

Thanks again. Know that many of your talk about your 4-legged friends. Sure provide love when we don't always deserve it.
