Looks like your planer is tore up, send it here and I will try to plane it smooth this time...
I love planing as well. Makes my saw time worthwhile. I have a stack of stuff that needs planed to find out what is next.
Since you're already trying to put it in the trash can you should send it to me !

The one I plan to use for a couple boxes. I think i have 5 of these slabs. Both pieces were one slabIt’s so butt ugly, I would paint it and turn it backwards.

How thick? wondering if a resaw on the top piece would be a good book match.

I looked and i have a stack of them. This one had a little moisture in center. Typical thick walnut. But it has dried slowly which is good.

More of the same bell. Too big to fit planer so skip planed with electric handheld. Amazing how different from other. You can see English on bottom and graft. Upside down. Different wrinkles. Stunning. I wonder what kind of drug you need to get unaddicted too cool wood??
