Does it have to be one piece, or can you laminate it? Or if you need a whole piece what time frame you need it in?

Ok, I know a guy that had some thicker Huon pine, unless it was king billy

Sorry I can't help, it only grows on that little island right down the other end of the country from me. I have a few small bowl blanks in the stash, but I personally think it's one of the most boring timbers in the world. I know it turns nice, but we have way better choices up here.

Thanks for hopping on this thread. I’ve never seen it in person so I’ll take your word for it. What are some of your preferred Australian Timbers that also turn nice?
