I recently bought a Nova 1624 lathe and am looking for the outrigger accessory for occasional oversized outboard turning. The SKU for the original Nova 1624 (the model I have) is OR3000; however, Nova claims the newer version (SKU 55223) made for the Nova 1624 II will also fit on the older Nova 1624. The newer outrigger can be purchased brand new from Nova, but I'd really rather not spend $320 on an accessory that from what Ive read only has limited usefulness. I know this is a long shot, but does anyone have one laying around that they don't want?
