It's a long shot but thought I'd ask, does anyone have an adapter to go from a 1" x 8 spindle to a 1-1/4" chuck? I bought a chuck and got the wrong size....

What's the chuck brand? Can you change the adapter in it?

@Tony In case you didn't see it, here's the a pic of the adapter that you need to choose from the link above. This adapter is very handy for someone with two different sze lathes (mini with a 1" and full size with 1 1/4" spindle). All my 1 1/4” chucks work on either lathe now. If it doesn't work for you then maybe we can make a trade.

Thanks Karl. I'm actually working with them to ship this one back and get the 1" that I need. I am goung to get an adapter that goes from a 1-1/4" to a 1" because I'm doing a demo at our club and the Powermatic there is a 1-1/4".

I am see. You needed the opposite direction. Only problem with those will extend the chuck further away from the headstock which isn't as stable as the direction I thought you needed. Either way having both adapters is handy for situations like this. If you didn't want to do ship it back then I'd buy or trade for it.
