If I can get my hands on multiple pieces, I'd like to at least plant one in my yard and make some hybrid bowls, vases and pen blanks out of the restWhat would you make with it? Chuck
Thanks. I am familiar with that. I have 3 that I'm growing now that are still seedlings. Looking for bigger pieces to make hybrids out of. Would be nice to actually find some sizable ones to plant in the yard as well. That particular variety doesn't grow around Tucson that I know of. We do have similar yuccas out here. I'll be going out into the desert next weekend and take a look at some that are dead. I believe the makeup of the trunk is just a bunch of fibers and not wood. I'm sure you know that. Probably perfect candidates for casting or stabilizing. ............ Jerry (in Tucson)
I have a couple yucca growing that have survived winter here. Those yucca will be fine here in zone 7Those don't grow around here, they are high desert plants, like the Mojave area around Joshua Tree CA. Not sure how well they will survive in a Maryland yard....
If at all possible yes. But if not I will take whatever I can getAre you looking for live plants??............ Jerry (in Tucson)
