I'm looking for Yucca cuttings. If anyone can get there hands on some mature Rostrata or Rigida yucca please let me know. Would like a nice 10-12" cutting of trunk if possible with leaves if possible. The middle picture is probably the most reasonable size considering shipping.

That particular variety doesn't grow around Tucson that I know of. We do have similar yuccas out here. I'll be going out into the desert next weekend and take a look at some that are dead. I believe the makeup of the trunk is just a bunch of fibers and not wood. I'm sure you know that. Probably perfect candidates for casting or stabilizing. ............ Jerry (in Tucson)

Thanks. I am familiar with that. I have 3 that I'm growing now that are still seedlings. Looking for bigger pieces to make hybrids out of. Would be nice to actually find some sizable ones to plant in the yard as well.

Those don't grow around here, they are high desert plants, like the Mojave area around Joshua Tree CA. Not sure how well they will survive in a Maryland yard....

I have a couple yucca growing that have survived winter here. Those yucca will be fine here in zone 7

@Smokeydabear, did you ever get what you are looking for. As far as live desert plants here in Arizona, it's against the law to transport without a permit. But, if the plants are from private property, it might not be. I'll check as I'm gonna be looking for some stalks.
Getting a plant that still is alive with roots, the plant probably would not fit in a large flat rate game box. I;ll get back to you next weekend after get back out into the real desert. My home is in it, but too many other homes around it to be considered what I like to call the desert. .......... Jerry (in Tucson)
