Really. Start another one titled just "ACRONYMS LIST" and I will close it so it doesn't get a ton of replies and bury the definitions in 100 various replies, and as this thread gets contributions we can add them to the sticky thread. Great idea I want you to start the thread since it was your idea.

Inside the post keep it simple just something like "This is a list of acronyms and is being constantly updated. If you have a contribution please make the post in this thread. "

Getting ready to go cut up a fallen tree in my parents yard. If anyone replies before I close it I'll move their reply here. Other mod once he makes the post close and stick the thread. Don't know the nest place to put it off the top of my head but y'all will figure it out that's why y'all are making the big bucks.

Sounds good. And thanks for the opportunity to help out...

I posted it here in the "Site Help" Sub-section...

:thanx:

If you are wondering what something stands for in a topic title or post look no further. We now have a place to look up the meaning of the acronyms we use so commonly here we don't even really think about it, like its normal conversation but really only some "woodies" like us get.

This is a list of acronyms in alphabetical order and will be constantly updated. If you have a contribution please make the post in the thread linked below...

Good idea
I think Blue Mahoe should be BLM, something about the present acronym is unsettling. I had to recently ask about POS. Suzy(no acronym, just my wife's name) found the definition amusing since I thought it was some chain saw part.:davidguil:

Rip,

I'm working on how to give you mod control of that thread so you can edit a closed thread like a mod. Don't worry everyone I know exactly what I'm doing . . .

No seriously nothing bad can possibly happen let me just try this one thing here be right back . . . .

:help:

Rip see if you can edit your ACRONYM post now. I think you can?
