I see posts on social media all time that raise my hackles a bit (not often here). My feeling is that getting involved with controversy on social media is akin to stepping in the doggy do instead of going around it.

I had a friend whose Amish buddy would tell them that if they ever teased him too much he would do a spinning back kick and take out their shins! Sorry, had to chuckle at the memory. To make it funnier, the friend who was threatened was about 5 foot nothing...

Part of life. Worst part was family. End of life stuff brings out the best or worst in families. We got the latter. Mom had made Kathie and I POA and MEDICAL POA. Otherwise I would have done the Red Fox , I am having the big one. Mad nope , disappointed, very. Part of life that cannot be viewed until it happens. I'll echo the old fart in appreciating those who keep this place civil, not easy in today's increasingly polarized world. My dad always said one of the most important things in life (and to enjoying life) is to take what you do and love seriously, but not to take yourself too seriously. I think somewhere along the lines our world/society has gotten that good advice ass-backwards. Thanks also to all the members here who excel at what they do and who are willing to coach and share - and who are also willing to be a bit silly and just have fun at the same time.
