My cat...I mean, my daughters cat loves water. Need to close the bathroom door when showering, to limit stepping on a cat in the shower.
appropriate though- I heard Henry was a secret cat lover... Just like @Tom Smart loves squirrels. And without hijacking, many threads would just slide into oblivion.It appears that this thread has been hijacked by the cat people

Current SS (Squirrel Score). The local Red Shoulder Hawk ate well yesterday.
I had an elderly neighbor years ago that caught squirrels in a cage, then drowned them in a big barrel. Her count was over 500! Chuck
I tried cages early on but all I caught was the fattest racoon in history. He tore up my Have a Heart cage. So, no more heart, just hawk, fox, racoon food.

It's no secret, I love cats that are indoors. And that live in barns/shops and catch mice. Well love may be a bit strong. It's the little SOBs that have free reign outside that draw my ire.
Some of our outside cats can be problematic. Their temperament is beyond bad. I wonder if they have not had their shots.

Would make a cool mount! I'm ok with those wild beasties, too (as long as they aren't stalking me or my pup). Just no feral cats or neighborhood wanderers, please!
So, you remove the ammo from the dead squirrel and let the hawks have them..?..
She ate them right? Otherwise it would just be cruelty to animals.

Do you eat rats and mice you catch in traps?
Yep, we do Chinese food too.
Rarely get any rats, used to feed to the chickens after a "par" boil. Now we treat them as Mice, go into the stove for a few BTU's. Our wood rat population has been super rare. Hope they rebound, but them Norways and cripps have pushed them out.

In the west, we do not eat squirrels. I asked gramps why? He said gramma does not like them. Go ahead and cook a couple. So we bagged a few pine squirrels, sorta rare on gramps property, a 12 yr old with a 22 is very hard on population.. We had really reduced the population honeing our hunting skills.
Yuck, gramps, they taste like turpentine. Yep, that's why gramma does not like them...

So, do you use cracked corn and rice? They were the best loads growing up when pigeon and dove hunting. No shot to worry about. Or were you implying steel or bismuth shot? I see they now offer a few other load types as well.
