Am I last to post photos of my gift? It was worth the wait. Picked it up yesterday from our mailbox. Really impressed by Tim's gift. The lathe work makes for a beautiful lightweight ornament with a graceful, fragile finial, the marbleized paint work and the colors he chose... it all adds up to a beautiful classy ornament my wife and i will be proud to hang every year. As the years have gone by, the kids have moved on, we seem to put up fewer and fewer decorations but we love a natural tree and we select specific ornaments and will continue to do so. Oh, and Tim included a little acrylic friend with a fancy hat to place on the mantle with other decorations that aren't made for hanging. Thank you very much Tim ( @trc65 ).

Incredible @trc65 Tim. Did you do that on purpose…..being last?

I know that answer. Everyone did an incredible job and all were inspiring to me. Nice round of applause for all the Wood Barter family! So glad to be a part of this incredible COMMUNITY.

I didn't think I was last, but I don't know, haven't counted. I know I didn't mail it last, it had extended stays in both Chicago and Denver, but was supposed to arrive a week ago.

That is very cool Marc! You've got to tell us more about the metal and turning it. I'm always looking to expand my snowmen army.
I had time finally this week to make another one. I'll have to post it up in a new topic tomorrow hopefully.
