♫ εηdεd ♫ Leather Work

Thank you.
I love old Stanley tools. They made them do well and even beautifully. Neat that you get to work in that legacy. Y’all creating something special now?
Yea we're always creating new designs.............improving on old designs.........more to come!!!

Big shout out to @Mr. Peet for connecting me with his friend for the leather work. We have been in touch and working on design and function as we speak. I'll try to keep this thread updated after I get the sheaths. One will be simple and the other will be very shop friendly.

@Normie Thanks for your efforts! Keep us in the loop on new and exciting things at Stanley!

I love how everything turned out. The guy making them communicated constantly to make sure I got what I wanted. He gave insight and suggestions and I couldn’t be happier.
Because the blades are fixed, we decided on a removable sheath on the larger piece. He felt that getting it to mold around the blade may cause an issue. Not a concern with a traditional sheath.
The larger piece with the pencils and square will be attached to an apron I plan on making sometime. In the second to last picture you can see he took extra care to add thin leather inside of the square holder. This will protect the square from the metal button.
