If you want to let the others go into a trade, let me know what you want. I can cut most any blank/billet sizes of many woods.

Old cocobolo. I linked the topic where I got it from in our conversation....

I have one more on the lathe just in case...differnt finish.
Ca, crystal coat friction, and wax....not sure how it will look yet....

Friction polish over CA :headscratch2::ponder: I’m anxious to see how that turns out.

There were a few cracks in this one. So I sanded it and soaked some super thin ca over it to fill it in a few times. Then sanded it down, and put the crystal coat on it. Turned out ok I think. I'll keep this one so I can see how it wears over time...

The box arrived. Man, those are some perty blanks. I'm going to drill n glue up a couple tomorrow. Spin em up and let you pick again. Yours are much better than mine.
If thats ok....

Great, I just found some very dark rosewood today and posted it on the Wood ID Help forum. After studying for a long time on Paul's site, I think it is either Burmese Rosewood or Bolivian Rosewood. Nice dark shades of violet in the wood. I think it will make a super pen. I'll send you some blanks of it in trade. Here's that link to the photos. https://woodbarter.com/threads/which-rosewood-is-this.35117/

I sanded it to 400g after planing it and it's smoother than glass. Also, have you ever turned goncalo alves? I have some with nice figure and my research says it turns great.
