Mike that would be great, Joebuilder was first response but did'nt mention walnut and I still would like to get some variety.mike1950 said:I have 3 or 4- 4" x 16" x 8-10' walnut that has dried in a barn for 12 years ( we are a high mountain desert climate here-air dry is dry). I don't know how much figure they have- Hell I can hardly drag them around. I do not think they would be easy to ship but I want to use some of it for bed legs and remander could easily fit into your size parameters. If you want I can get one of the sons to drag one out and see if I can run it thru planer.
Bare minimum for dried and ready to work on is 2 1/2".mike1950 said:Jim or ? what is the minimum thickness for gunstock blanks-the reason why I ask is I have a very nice piece of walnut that is 2+" by 20" by 10 ' there are some very nice pcs of curly in this piece.
