ENDED** Sugar Maple from Wisconsin

Howdy! I'm looking for a small piece of sugar maple grown in Wisconsin. I'd prefer 8/4 4'' x 12''-ish, but 4/4 8'' X 12'' ish would work too. No figuring needed. It's for a wedding gift for a couple that met in La Crosse. They both love the outdoors and maple syrup, so it's the perfect wood. Any leads are appreciated. Cheers!

I have a piece of Maple 9 1/2 inches wide and could cut 12-18 inches for you. I am 30 miles from LaCrosse, and with where my supplier is it could be either MN or WI but I can't guarantee it. it's been planed and surfaced to 1 1/2 inches.

Not exactly what you're looking for as far as size. 7/8" x 8 1/2" x 23" Tap scar hard Maple from a sawmill in La Crosse county, Wisconsin.

I have a piece of Maple 9 1/2 inches wide and could cut 12-18 inches for you. I am 30 miles from LaCrosse, and with where my supplier is it could be either MN or WI but I can't guarantee it. it's been planed and surfaced to 1 1/2 inches.

Cheers Rob! That's gorgeous stuff, great cheese boards too. Not exactly what I'm looking for on this project, but I love the story of the spalt and I'm still interested. What would you take for the top board?

It's about 2 board feet or a bit less, so less than 10.00 worth of lumber, postage would run about 15 for a medium flat rate box.
