This is a box of very nice wood for bowls and other turnings. The photos below give all the sizes.
The cherry is from central Pennsylvania which is the home of the best wild cherry (IMHO). Very few, if any, gum streaks appear in wood from this area. It was air-dried in a barn for 20 years and smells divine when you cut it. I see a typo on the cherry board in the back. It is 7.75 inches wide, not 1.75.

The red maple is from Pennsylvania and the Sugar Maple is from New York. The curly figure is really nice in the sugar maple, much better than the photos show.

The cocobolo and wenge came from Rick Hearne's Lumber Co. He's one of the largest importers and retailers of exotic woods in the USA. The cocobolo is just beautiful and has no sapwood.

This will ship in a LFRB. Asking price is $40 plus $18 for shipping.

Would you sell that coco by itself? I have all of the other stuff but I would like that cocobolo.

I'd like to keep this box together but I do have other cocobolo coming up. In reality, I'm selling the cocobolo and wenge and giving everything else away at pine prices. Sorry.

I may still take this box and split it with Tony.

Okay, just let me know. I do have other boxes with special woods included coming up. Also, I filled the little space left in the box with a very nice piece of curly maple that is not shown. It is a filler to make sure the LFRB is completely packed.

Ok, what sizes of coco do you have?
I'll have to get back to you on that. Most of them are buried in my garage wood pile somewhere. I'm systematically going through and selling wood as I come to it. I've also got some 12/4 cherry and black walnut that would make great bowls if I can find them again.

I'm just after that coco. I have everything else. If you have coco at least this large I'll wait for that and give the box to @Bill12035 but I don't want to pass on it until I know what else you have.

That is some pretty stuff Larry, great deal too! Tony

I will go through my pile this weekend and see if I can find the others. Get back to you as soon as I can.

Oh heck, I'll take this box and give you time to dig up the other coco for me.
Send me your PayPal and I'll get you paid.

Okay. I think that might be the best decision as I'm not sure how big the other cut-offs are. I got them many years ago. I'll still search for them and let you know.

Agreed, and I didn't want to tie this thread up waiting to see what you have. I can always buy the other stuff if it's something I like. I can trade off the stuff from this lot that I don't need.

Package received yesterday, but I havent had time to open it yet. Mail lady is probably getting tires of these heavy boxes. :sarcastic:
