Welcome from Connecticut! Spoons are a great way to learn about wood. There's more to making a spoon than most realize. Wrong grain orientation--breaks. Wrong wood choice--splinters, rots, discolors, stinks, taints the food, etc. Wrong handle angle or spoon shape--a pain to use and quickly becomes firewood. You're making strong-looking, attractive spoons and everybody loves such hand-made tools. Keep it up!

If you need a free, easy place to post pix that aren't pertinent to Wood Barter, may I suggest Flickr. I left Photobucket because they have gone to the dogs. Went to Flickr and it's great! (No, I have no vested interest in Flickr other than a free storage site.
