I'm confused on your dimensions as that would be like an oval cylindrical shape?I do not have any Buckhorn cholla, interested in a piece that I could make a reference sample 3"x6"x1/2".

Flat, thin plank. 3 inches wide, 6 inches long, and a half inch thick to fit standardized sample boardsI'm confused on your dimensions as that would be like an oval cylindrical shape?
Andrew, do you have any 2" to 2.25" in diameter? That would work great. I would cut it and laminate the halves to make a sample. Don't want any casted. Want natural to better see morphology of the end grain. It would be a study sample, not used for craft. Thanks.Or what about two 6 inch long pieces casted together to make 3 wide cuz the buckhorn is hard to find 3 inches wide
